Pronel Personnel is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper for an established organisation based in Merrivale, KwaZulu-Natal. The role offers hands-on experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, stock control, and general administration to support a small finance team.

The successful candidate will have basic bookkeeping knowledge, be proficient in Sage and Excel, and demonstrate strong numeracy, organisation, and reliable work ethic in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance administration role.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Sage Accounting experience is essential.
• Microsoft Excel experience is essential.
• Good numerical and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organised and able to manage routine tasks independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and willing to assist across different areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Process and capture customer invoices.
• Capture and maintain stock reconciliations.
• Prepare stock weight slips.
• Assist with purchasing and strategic buying of packaging and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping and general administration.
• Ensure information is captured accurately and timeously.
• Provide support with day‑to‑day financial and administrative tasks.
