Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper in Ballito to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and assist with basic financial reporting. Preference will be given to candidates residing on the North Coast.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho Books.

Responsibilities

• Capture and maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and collections.
• Maintain and organize financial documents and records.
• Support monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist senior staff with audits and financial reviews.

Minimum Requirements
