Placements24, based in Vereeniging, Gauteng, is seeking a Junior Architect to support design concepts, drafting, and project documentation. You will work with senior architects to develop proposals and detailing for diverse projects in Gauteng.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years post-graduate experience, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp, and a strong eye for presentation. A collaborative, growth-focused environment with SACAP registration support awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree.
• 1-3 years post-graduate experience in architectural practice.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Strong graphic and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of architectural theory, design principles and building technologies.
• Familiarity with SA building codes advantageous.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Registered or eligible for SACAP as Candidate Architect.

Responsabilités

You will work closely with senior architects and designers, playing a key role in developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings, and ensuring the successful realization of architectural visions. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in the development of architectural designs and concepts.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using relevant software.

Requirements

• Strong graphic and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of architectural theory, design principles, and building technologies.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and standards is advantageous.
