Entelect is seeking a Java Technical Lead to drive delivery of web and mobile applications for leading South African organisations. You will mentor and lead a cross‑functional team, influence architectural choices and champion clean code practices.

You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with leadership and customers to deliver high‑impact solutions while staying current with evolving technologies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and commitment to clean code and best practices.
• Broad and deep technical knowledge in your craft.
• Ability to build, architect and design applications within an enterprise environment.
• Mastery of various technologies with the agility to adapt to new frameworks.

• Engaging in various stages of the SDLC, from system design to analysis, scoping, and estimation.

What We Need from You:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields.

What To Expect from the Recruitment Process:

• The next step will be a 1.5‑hour in‑person technical interview at one of our offices where you will meet some of our leadership team.
