Job summary

Entelect in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced software engineer to tackle complex enterprise challenges and deliver world-class web and mobile applications.

In this role you will design, implement, and maintain systems, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while enjoying a hybrid work model with 2–3 days in the office. You will engage in SDLC activities, CI/CD, and ongoing learning through leadership-led development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals and clean-code practices.
• Ability to architect and structure small projects in an enterprise context.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a drive for continual improvement.
• Experience with hybrid working model (2–3 days in office).
• Strong customer-facing ability.
• Flexibility to work across environments and tooling.
