Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced ITSM Administrator in Cape Town to own our ITSM platform end-to-end. You will configure, automate, integrate, and report on ITSM workflows, partnering with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Change Management to ensure effective service delivery.

You’ll leverage ITIL v4 practices, build automation, and drive data-driven decisions, with exposure to modern tools like ServiceNow and HaloITSM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on ITSM administration (ServiceNow, HaloITSM, or similar).
• Strong ITIL v4 knowledge across Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Asset Management.
• Experience building workflow automation, approvals, and business rules.
• Proven integration experience using REST APIs, OAuth2, and/or webhooks.
• Strong reporting and analytics skills - you turn data into decisions.
• Understanding of RBAC, security controls, and data governance.
• ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent practical experience).

Our client is in need an ITSM Administrator who genuinely enjoys the puzzle of turning messy operational requirements into clean, scalable workflows. You'll own the ITSM platform end-to-end - configuring, automating, integrating, and reporting on it - while partnering with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Change Management to make service delivery actually work the way it's supposed to.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years hands-on ITSM administration (ServiceNow, HaloITSM, or similar)
• Strong ITIL v4 knowledge across Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Asset Management
