Job summary

Bridgena Barnard & Associates is seeking an IT Technician with 4-6 years of experience to provide on-site technical support in a fast-paced environment in Cape Town.

The role requires strong IT systems support experience, English communication, and the ability to handle diverse technical tasks, including event setup and vendor coordination. Remuneration includes P/Fund and Medical. Permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Certificates or Diploma in IT/Computing or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Windows Server, Azure) are advantageous
• On-site IT support experience in hospitality or similar environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support to hospitality staff and management
• Perform proactive system monitoring and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for service and maintenance
• Track and manage IT support incidents and escalations
• Assist with IT infrastructure improvements and project work
• Set up and support event equipment for meetings and events
