Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Strong experience in server, desktop support and end‑user computing environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems and service management processes.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices within infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, maintenance and performance optimization.
• ITSM and project management certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Server and Desktop Support teams.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and reliability across environments.
• Manage team workloads and ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems and service requests.
• Analyse service desk trends and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Oversee server infrastructure, storage, backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Drive improvements in end-user support, device lifecycle management and service quality.
• Act as an escalation point for critical technical incidents.
• Manage and deliver infrastructure-related projects to agreed timelines.
• Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and risk management requirements.
