We’re looking for an IT Network & Server Administrator for a permanent office based role situated in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux), managing roles like DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Network Administration: Set up and optimise Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) using routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Security & Access Control: Monitor systems for security threats, configure firewall rules, and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Execute regular data backups, test recovery plans, and maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as an escalation point for hardware, software, and connectivity issues reported by employees.
• System Updates: Apply routine firmware updates, security patches, and hardware upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 4 years of hands‑on experience in IT, network administration, or systems administration.
