Job summary

SRG Financial Placements is seeking an entry-level IT support specialist to provide first-line assistance and manage helpdesk tickets. You will assist with Microsoft 365 administration, configure devices for new hires, and support basic networking tasks.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in IT support, familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Lansweeper, plus strong communication and customer service skills. A proactive learner is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience; CompTIA A+ and/or N+ advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and fundamental networking.
• Exposure to Active Directory/Azure AD and IT asset management tools such as Lansweeper.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues, managing helpdesk tickets and keeping users updated.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Copilot support.
• Configure and prepare devices for new employees, maintain the IT asset register, and assist with hardware upgrades and replacements.
• Support basic network and infrastructure tasks, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting, site checks, and escalation of more complex technical issues.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades and migrations while following security policies, maintaining documentation and reporting potential security risks.
