Placements24 is seeking an IT Recruitment Consultant to join our Durban-based team. You will source, screen and place IT professionals across software engineering, data science and cloud roles, building a strong local network while delivering exceptional client service.

You will work remotely with occasional team meetups in Durban, enjoy a competitive commission structure and ongoing professional development to advance your recruitment career in KwaZulu-Natal's tech scene.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a specialization in IT recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and the current tech job market.
• Proven ability to source hard-to-find technical talent using advanced search techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview IT professionals for a wide range of technical roles, including software engineering, data science, and cloud computing.
• Build and maintain a strong network of IT talent within the Durban region and beyond.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients in the technology sector, understanding their technical requirements and company culture.
• Provide market insights and strategic advice to clients on IT talent acquisition challenges and trends.
• Manage the offer process and ensure a positive candidate and client experience throughout.
