Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager to oversee the implementation of new enterprise systems from planning through deployment and user adoption. The role requires hands-on coordination with technical teams, end-users, and vendors, based in Centurion, Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related discipline.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic retail solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented IT Project Manager to oversee the implementation of new enterprise systems. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the successful deployment and integration of software solutions across various business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT projects, with a particular emphasis on system implementations, upgrades, and integrations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of these projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering through to deployment, testing, and user adoption. This position requires hands-on involvement and collaboration with technical teams, end-users, and third-party vendors. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar.
