About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology services provider with a significant presence in Pretoria, Gauteng , is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Implementation Project Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the successful deployment and integration of new software solutions and IT infrastructure for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT projects, from initial client consultation and requirements gathering through to system deployment, user training, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality IT solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT systems implementation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including developers, system administrators, business analysts, and quality assurance testers.
• Oversee the configuration, installation, and integration of new software and hardware systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of third-party components.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively resolving challenges.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and client expectations.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to all relevant stakeholders regularly.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide necessary training and support.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on software and systems implementation.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, network concepts, database management, and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
