Qualifikationen

• Minimum degree in commerce, information systems or engineering.
• Business Analyst Diploma advantageous.
• 2+ years relevant BA experience in custody domain advantageous.
• Experience with BaNCS SP system advantageous.

Job Description

The purpose of the role is as follows:

To work as a liaison among stakeholders, using a set of tasks and techniques, in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of the bank and to recommend solutions that enable the bank to achieve its goals

Responsibilities:

• Suggest changes in executing work processes to better drive value and benefits for the business.
• Prepare and share recommendations for process and systems improvements in relevant area of accountability.
• Facilitate one-on-one or group workshops to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies and, where relevant, IT systems.
• Analyze existing processes and facilitate improvements with stakeholders.
• Document business/functional requirements.
• Conduct a gap analysis to identify the most feasible solution to meet requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to define metrics/performance goals and acceptance criteria for solution and ensure the implementation of the requirements.
• Clarify the business requirements and functional/process specifications for relevant stakeholders.
• Work with project team to define metrics/performance goals and acceptance criteria for solution and system and ensure the implementation of the requirements .
• Participate in the test effort to ensure that the delivered solution meets agreed business requirements and functional/process specifications.
• Participate in post project implementation review.
• Provide input into compiling or write system manuals where required.
• Compile training material and provide end-user training to stakeholders where relevant.
• Prioritize requirements (critical and non-critical) with Project Manager to identify project deliverables and time frames .
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders' requirements are delivered.
• Preserves relationships despite airing conflicting views and seeks mutual gains when addressing conflicts.
• Anticipates consequences and adapts problem solving based on continual feedback.
• Act speedily to resolve problems, queries and complaints.
• Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum relevant Degree (e.g. B. Com, BSc Information Systems or Engineering) is advantageous
• Business Analyst Diploma (Advantageous)
• Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in a Business Analyst role (Advantageous)
• Experience in the Custody environment is a requirement
• Experience on the BaNCS SP system is a requirement
• Knowledge of the Master File Administration processing in the BaNCS SP system is a requirement
• Exposure to system testing is a requirement
• Experience in the Global Custody product set and processes is advantageous
