IP House is seeking an IT Administrator to manage day-to-day operations for a highly distributed workforce in our Cape Town office. You will collaborate with regional IT teams and our MSP to handle onboarding, device management, security, and policy maintenance.

On-site in Cape Town with some remote flexibility, the role emphasizes Windows/macOS support, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and improving IT processes across time zones.

Competenze

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of IT administration experience supporting a distributed workforce.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Proficiency supporting Windows and macOS users.
• Working knowledge of networking and security fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, MFA, SSO).
• Experience coordinating with MSPs and IT vendors.
• Microsoft certifications, Azure/AWS experience, or PowerShell scripting a plus.

• Own employee onboarding and offboarding with HR, coordinating accounts, access, and equipment.
• Serve as escalation point for MSP and ensure service levels.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other business systems; manage access control, MFA, SSO.
• Manage Windows and macOS end-user devices and shared tech resources.
• Procure, deploy, inventory, retire hardware, and manage warranties.
• Monitor security alerts and apply best practices to protect data.
• Complete recurring compliance work and keep IT policies current.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and improve IT processes.
• Manage licenses, subscriptions, and IT spend; research tools/vendors.
