Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an IS Infrastructure and Security Project Manager to lead IT delivery plans and manage stakeholder relationships across IS programmes. The role focuses on on-time delivery, risk management, and governance in a complex enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in infrastructure and IT business applications projects, with advantage for Retail and Infrastructure Security experience, plus AWS project exposure.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification required.
• Certificate or Diploma in IS Project Management.
• 5+ years infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years managing IT business applications projects.
• 3+ years in the Retail industry is an advantage.
• 3+ years in Infrastructure Security is an advantage.
• Experience managing AWS projects is an advantage.
• Experience with IT governance principles.
• Experience with financial budgeting and IT cost initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop quarterly IT Delivery plans aligned to business strategy and IS programmes.
• Build and manage relationships with business areas and key stakeholders within IS Programmes.
• Ensure projects and enhancements are delivered on time and to scope.
• Identify, highlight and manage project risks and issues.
• Highlight interdependencies of projects and report progress to IS Programme Manager.
• Identify and onboard required project resources via capability leads or cross-functional teams.
• Oversee budgets for assigned IS projects and governance of delivery methodologies.
• Prepare content for steering committees and administer relevant projects and enhancements.
• Promote knowledge management across systems and processes.

About the job IS Infrastructure and Security Project Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible developing quarterly IT Delivery plans that align to the strategic objectives of the business& IS Programme(s)
• Responsible for building and managing the relationship with the business areas and key stakeholderswithin the IS Programme(s)
• Responsible for ensuring projects and enhancements are delivered on time and to the requiredspecifications/scope
• Responsible for highlighting and managing risks and issues of projects
• Responsible for highlighting the interdependencies of projects
• Responsible for reporting progress of projects back the IS Programme Manager
• Responsible for identification and onboarding of required project resources (e.g. via capability lead orcross functional teams)
• Responsible for the budget of the assigned IS projects
• Responsible for the governance and adherence to the company'sSolution Delivery methodology
• Responsible for preparing the content for the relevant steering committees
• Responsible for the administration of the relevant projects and enhancements
• Required to embrace a culture of Knowledge Management by ensuring that knowledge managementsystems and processes are fully utilised

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum requirement - relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Certificate or Diploma in IS Project Management
• 5+ years Infrastructure experience
• 5+ years in managing projects of IT business applications
• 3+ years in the Retail industry (will be an advantage)
• 3+ years in Infrastructure Security (will be an advantage)
• Experience managing AWS projects (will be an advantage)
• Application of IT governance principles
• Experience with financial budgeting and cost of IT initiatives
