Job summary

PPS External Distribution is seeking a hybrid development role combining the skills of a Business Consultant: Risk and Investment Specialist. Primary responsibility will be the provision of Life Assurance & Investment support to financial intermediaries, building long-term relationships with intermediaries, including high net worth intermediaries.

The role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on business development and relationship management within a base of Life Assurance & Investment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in IFA, investment or linked product markets, preferably at a LISP or retail asset management.
• Experience in Life Assurance is advantageous.
• Discretionary Fund Manager or multi-management experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Life Assurance industry trends and ASISA categories is essential.
• Ability to influence others by linking needs to goals.

Responsibilities

• Support and service intermediaries in their sales efforts with quotes and benefit statements.
• Plan and control liaison activities with intermediaries and their managers.
• Ensure continuous improvement of service standards and alignment to TCF.
• Build PPSI asset management brand through networking and partnerships.
• Deliver reports on leads, opportunities, and intermediary needs; provide investment information and training.
