Recruit'd in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced back-office professional for fund administration and investor operations. The role supports the CFO and Business Development in day-to-day raise execution, onboarding of investors, and servicing distributors and high-net-worth clients with compliant, audit-ready records.

The ideal candidate excels in Excel, CRM, and document management, and communicates clearly both in writing and on the phone.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in back office, fund administration, or investor operations.
• Working knowledge of AML/KYC onboarding.
• Excellent telephone manner and client-facing confidence with investors and intermediaries.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple threads without detail loss.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CRM and document management systems.
• Clear, professional written communication.
• Familiarity with distributor and IFA channel operations is advantageous.
• Experience supporting a senior executive is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Raise execution and coordination: work with CFO and Business Development on daily raise execution and keep all parts synchronized.
• Track workflow across investors, distributors, and advisors; surface status and next actions.
• Coordinate diaries and deadlines across CFO, distribution partners, and counterparties.
• Investor onboarding and administration: process subscriptions and onboarding docs; run AML/KYC verification; maintain audit-ready investor files.
• Client and distributor liaison: act as first point of contact for investor/distributor queries; set up meetings and manage invitations.
• Chase incomplete applications through to close-out.
• Client support: assist clients in assembling tax documentation and distributing statements and tax certificates.
• Records and controls: apply onboarding checklist; maintain regulatory records and version control.
