Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk to support stock control and material handling on site in South Africa. You will process requisitions, pick and pack stock, verify item codes, and enter transactions into the ERP system to keep accurate records.

Responsibilities include stock counts, reporting shortages, and maintaining safe, organized storage areas. A Matric and ERP familiarity are essential, with a Stores/Logistics certificate advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required, with a certificate in Stores, Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain being advantageous.
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is expected.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is required.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, email) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process material requisitions.
• Pick, pack, and issue stock according to approved requests.
• Verify quantities and item codes before issuing stock.
• Capture stock transactions accurately on the inventory system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Assist with stock counts and cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Stores Controller.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety standards.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
• Support receiving and put-away activities when required.
