Job summary

Synergy Jobs (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng (Northriding) is seeking a Stock Controller/Administrator to manage stock storages, movements and regular stock takes. You will maintain records, liaise with suppliers, and support monthly reporting.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12 and about two years of inventory control experience, with hands-on MS Dynamics GP or similar ERP exposure. This role focuses on accurate stock management and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• 2 years inventory control experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Dynamics GP or other MS ERP systems (Navision, Axapta) is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels and accuracy.
• Place replenishment orders and track deliveries.
• Record purchases, pricing, and stock movements.
• Conduct regular stock audits and discrepancies investigations.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports and related finance reports.

Job description

POSITION: Stock Controller/Administrator LOCATION: Gauteng (Northriding) REPORTING TO: Nursery Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for the correct storing, movement and stock take of goods / consumable and product inventory according to company procedures.

Duties

• Regularly check and maintain stock levels to ensure they meet business needs.
• Place orders to replenish stock as needed and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and pricing.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Liaise with suppliers to manage orders, negotiate deals, and resolve any issues with deliveries.
• Implement and improve inventory management processes and procedures.
• Compile and present reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics.
• Compile month-end finance reports

Experience

• Preferable 2 years’ operational inventory control experience
• MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a big advantage or any other Microsoft ERP such as Navision and Axapta (BC or F&O)
