The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting effective stock control through stock counting, reconciliation, inventory transactions, system administration and the identification and escalation of stock discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
- National Senior Certificate (Essential).
- NQF Level 7 (3-year degree) / Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain (Essential).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations or supply chain environments.
- Minimum 3 years' operational experience within an inventory and Supply Chain environment.
- SAP experience.
- Advanced Excel and Intermediate MS Outlook skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts and cycle counts, process approved stock adjustments, identify and report discrepancies, and assist with inventory reconciliations and stock variance investigations.
- Safety, Health and Quality Control: Ensure inventory activities are performed in accordance with applicable safety procedures and quality standards, and report damaged, defective or non-conforming stock.
- Operational Administration: Complete inventory-related administration, documentation, records and reports accurately and timeously in accordance with established processes.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Sales, Distribution, Warehousing and other relevant stakeholders, and follow up and elevate inventory-related queries and discrepancies.
- Governance, Compliance and Risk: Adhere to applicable legislation, company policies, procedures and inventory control requirements, and report control weaknesses, noncompliance or irregularities.
