Placements24 is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager for our Vereeniging, Gauteng operations. This hybrid role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of inventory processes, collaborating with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, extensive ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and a track record of reducing carrying costs while ensuring product availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in inventory control or supply chain roles.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle/WMS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication in a hybrid environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily inventory operations: receiving, stocking, picking, shipping.
• Monitor inventory levels across locations for accuracy and optimal stock.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze data to forecast demand, optimize reorder points, reduce carrying costs.
• Implement and manage inventory software and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with procurement for timely stock replenishment.
• Align inventory strategies with sales and operations goals.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and supervise inventory staff.
