Job summary

TFG (The Foschini Group) seeks an Allocator to support merchandise strategy by analyzing stock levels, deliveries, and store needs. You will coordinate with suppliers, DC, and stores to ensure timely stock and effective replenishment.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, solid numeracy, and strong Excel/BI planning tools skills. You will work with Planners and Buyers to implement strategic distribution and optimize product availability across stores.

Qualifications

Matric is essential and a relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
1–2 years relevant experience is required.
High numeracy with an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work.
Proficient in Excel and capable of using BI/planning tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee inventory from supplier through DC to stores.
Formulate and execute merchandise distribution strategy and support stores/operations.
Collaborate with Planners and Buyers to implement the Merchandise Strategy.
Conduct store and merchandise-related analysis (style, sizing).
Monitor stock delivery and take corrective action as needed.
Manage replenishment and communicate with stores and operations.
