Job summary

The Foschini Group (TFG) is seeking a Merchandise Planning and Allocation support role to assist stock allocation, replenishment and performance analysis across stores. You will liaise with stores, suppliers and the Distribution Centre to manage stock availability and deliveries. Strong Excel skills and retail exposure are advantageous.

You will provide administrative support to the Merchandise Planning and Allocation teams and contribute to accurate stock records and reporting.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Previous exposure to a retail or stock management environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the Merchandise Strategy through stock allocation and replenishment activities.
• Support the monitoring of stock levels and merchandise movement across stores.
• Assist with analysing sales, stock and store performance data to identify trends and stock requirements.
• Liaise with stores, suppliers and the Distribution Centre regarding stock availability, deliveries and general queries.
• Track stock deliveries and assist with following up on delays or discrepancies.
• Support effective stock management by identifying and reporting stock-related issues.
• Assist with preparing reports and maintaining accurate stock and allocation records.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Merchandise Planning and Allocation teams.
