Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced Internal Sales Manager to drive the end-to-end quoting process for industrial capital equipment, pumps and water treatment projects. You will manage RFQs from enquiry through to order handover, coordinating with Operations and Projects to ensure timely delivery and accurate costing.

The role requires 5–8 years in internal sales or quote desks, a technical reading of GA drawings and P&IDs, advanced Excel and CRM skills, and strong written English for client

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in internal sales, estimating or quote desk in industrial capital equipment, pumps, or water treatment.
• National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical quoting experience.
• Ability to read GA drawings, P&IDs and datasheets.
• Strong commercial numeracy including cost build-ups, margins, and landed costs.
• Advanced Excel and CRM skills.
• Strong written English and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming RFQs and ensure enquiries are qualified and actioned.
• Build and maintain quoting systems and price books.
• Compile technical and commercial quotations.
• Obtain and consolidate supplier pricing, lead times and freight costs.
• Convert accepted quotations into works orders and coordinate handover to Operations and Projects.
• Maintain pipeline reporting and sales reporting systems.
• Monitor tender platforms and identify relevant opportunities.
• Maintain vendor registrations and prequalification requirements.

Job description

A growing industrial equipment and water treatment business is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Manager to manage the process from enquiry and quotation through to order handover, suited to someone with strong industrial quoting, costing and technical equipment experience.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 5–8 years' experience in internal sales, estimating or a quote desk environment within industrial capital equipment, pumps, process plant or water treatment
• National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering, or demonstrably equivalent experience in a technical quoting environment
• Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, P&IDs and equipment datasheets
• Strong commercial numeracy, including cost build-ups, margins, landed costs and payment terms
• Advanced Excel and CRM skills
• Strong written English and professional client-facing communication
• Experience with tender platforms, imported equipment, Incoterms, landed costing or CRM implementation highly advantageous
