Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Paarl team. This role focuses on evaluating internal controls, risk management and governance processes across the organization.

You will conduct audits, identify non-compliance or inefficiency, and provide practical recommendations. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of auditing experience, solid knowledge of COSO, and strong data-analysis and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing or related field.
• CIA/CISA/CA(SA) strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of internal or external auditing experience.
• Strong understanding of COSO, risk assessment, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits per annual plan.
• Evaluate internal controls and policy compliance.
• Perform fieldwork and gather audit evidence.
• Document findings and present reports to management.
• Follow up on implemented audit recommendations.
• Stay updated on auditing standards and regulatory changes.
