Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CIA or CA(SA) qualification is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Solid understanding of auditing principles, COSO framework, and risk management.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and audit software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits according to the annual audit plan.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses.
• Perform detailed testing of financial records and operational processes.
• Document audit findings, prepare clear and concise audit reports, and present recommendations to management.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
• Stay updated on auditing best practices, industry regulations, and emerging risks relevant to financial institutions.
