Job summary

AfriConsultancy is seeking a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their team in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. You will own projects from concept through final implementation, translating ideas into spatial designs that balance creativity, functionality, brand and customer experience.

You will work closely with the Creative Director, junior designers and clients, leading and guiding the design team to deliver compelling retail environments. Market related remuneration depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a retail design environment.
• Experience leading a design team.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Revit would be advantageous.
• An out-of-the-box thinker who thrives under pressure.

About the role

Our client is an established retail design consultancy with over 30 years’ experience designing retail spaces for some of South Africa’s best-known retail brands. They are looking for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their team in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.

You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to final implementation, translating ideas into spatial designs that balance creativity, functionality, brand and customer experience. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, junior designers and clients.
