Placements24 is seeking an experienced Intercity Delivery Professional based in Upington to manage long-distance routes and ensure timely transport of goods across the Northern Cape and beyond. You will handle loading/unloading, route planning, and client service, using a company vehicle and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires navigating major routes in the Northern Cape, excellent time management, and a professional approach to customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10/C1 driver's license or equivalent.
• Proven experience in long-distance or intercity delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Northern Cape routes.
• Physically able to load and unload cargo.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled intercity deliveries and pickups from Upington to various destinations.
• Ensure safe and timely transport of goods, adhering to all road safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections for long-distance travel.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
• Manage loading and unloading procedures, ensuring cargo integrity.
• Provide professional service to clients at each delivery location.
