Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-duty truck for long-haul transportation of goods.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its load, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck, including checks on fluids, tires, and brakes, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up operations.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders regarding delivery status and potential delays.
