The role requires integrating crop and livestock systems and strong leadership. The ideal candidate has a degree in Agriculture or related field, 7+ years in farm management, and proficiency with farm management software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive farm management experience in integrated crop and livestock systems.
• Deep knowledge of crop production techniques and livestock management.
• Strong business sense: budgeting, financial planning and cost control.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated farm plans balancing crop and livestock operations.
• Oversee daily farm activities: crop farming, harvesting, animal husbandry, feeding and health.
• Lead staff, ensure safe, efficient workflow and safety compliance.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Apply best practices in soil health, pest/disease control and water use.
• Maintain high animal welfare and crop quality; supervise breeding, health and feeding programs.
• Manage infrastructure, equipment and maintenance; ensure operations readiness.
• Oversee fertilizer and pesticide applications within integrated management plans.
• Liaise with suppliers, buyers and regulators; keep detailed operational records.
