Job summary

Maersk in Cape Town is seeking an Integrated Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop strategic customer relationships within industrial manufacturing, project logistics and energy sectors.

You will own end-to-end logistics solutions, build a strong sales pipeline, and collaborate with CX, Product and Operations to deliver value and ensure customer onboarding and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or logistics roles.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain solutioning.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain services.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute account strategies within industrial manufacturing, project cargo and energy segments.
• Develop and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline.
• Drive new business acquisition through prospecting, networking and solution-based selling.
• Own commercial discussions, negotiations and closing of new business.
• Collaborate with internal CX, Product and Operations teams for delivery excellence.
