Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Client Relationship Manager for Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will nurture and grow relationships with existing clients, coordinate with underwriting, claims and other teams, and ensure high service standards and tailored insurance solutions.

The role requires 4+ years in client or account management in insurance or financial services, strong communication and negotiation skills, a relevant tertiary qualification, and proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in client/account management within insurance or financial services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of insurance products and financial services.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as their main point of contact.
• Develop deep understanding of client needs and insurance requirements.
• Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct regular client reviews and performance reporting.
• Build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
• Contribute to client retention strategies and initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product developments to provide informed advice.
