Job summary
Solenis is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Kempton Park to perform instrumentation work across plant and workshop environments. You will handle calibration, installation, and calibration of all process instrumentation and pneumatic equipment, ensuring reliable operation to support production schedules.
The role requires a trade qualification, 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience, and the ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Trade test certificate is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
- Industrial plant knowledge and hands-on mindset.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation and pneumatic equipment.
- Field instrumentation tasks including hardware installation, cabling, calibration, commissioning, and retrofitting.
- Follow Solenis standards for preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance.
- Supervise a team when required and resolve urgent plant problems.
- Program and commission control systems (PLC/DCS) including HMI design and Ethernet networking.
