Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Process Instrumentation Sales Specialist to join our team in Sandton, SA. You will take ownership of relationships across Tier 1 accounts, engaging with engineering, maintenance, operations and procurement to identify opportunities for instrumentation solutions.

The role covers Midrand through Pretoria to Lephalale, Polokwane, Musina and Phalaborwa with a strong market presence and established customer base.

Qualifications

• A technical foundation in Instrumentation, Automation, or Process Control.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, including flow, level, pressure, temperature or analytical measurement.
• Ability to discuss industrial applications and present technical solutions confidently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across levels in major industrial organisations.
• Technical qualification such as BTech / ND / N6 plus Instrumentation TradeTest will be considered.
• Previous external/technical sales experience is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
• CRM and structured account-management experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively in territory.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of relationships and sales development across an established portfolio of key industrial customers.
• Engage with engineering, maintenance, operations, technical and procurement stakeholders within Tier 1 accounts.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate instrumentation and measurement solutions.
• Develop opportunities across flow, level, pressure, temperature and analytical instrumentation.
• Grow existing accounts through increased product penetration, cross-selling and solution-based selling.
• Identify new projects, applications and opportunities within your customer base and territory.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial solutions to customers.
• Manage quotations, opportunities, sales pipelines, forecasts and account plans.
• Work closely with internal technical, sales, service, project and marketing teams.
• Maintain a strong presence in the market through regular customer and site visits.
