Job summary

ShopriteX is seeking an insights professional to leverage retail data assets for strategic findings. You will analyze sales, shopper, and category trends using the insights platform and train stakeholders on its use, communicating results effectively to internal and external partners.

You will coordinate small-to-mid sized supplier accounts, maintain relationships, support decision-making with data-driven stories, and help expand the value of Shoprite's data monetisation efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field, essential.
• +1 years’ experience in a similar capacity or role, essential.
• Experience with large data sets and analytics platforms to deliver actionable insights, essential.
• Strong ability to package insights into well-designed presentations.
• Experience with FMCG brands or retail insights is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute analyses on sales, shopper, and category trends.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create stakeholder presentations and deliver insights visually.
• Support internal users and suppliers to access the insights platform.
• Coordinate stakeholder requirements and manage workplan delivery.
• Deliver onboarding and training on platform navigation and interpretation.
