Job summary

Solevo is seeking an experienced Factory Operator to join our warehouse and production team in Gauteng. You will work with others to ensure safe, efficient warehousing and manufacturing operations, including forklift handling and daily system updates.

The role requires a forklift license and 4–6 months of training. Warehouse experience in a chemical environment is advantageous, with emphasis on safety, collaboration, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Medically fit to operate a forklift.
• 4 to 6 months training.
• Warehouse experience in a chemical environment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure forklifts are in good working and clean condition.
• Report defects to Production Manager immediately.
• Upload forklift checks onto the system daily (using the iPad).
• Ensure finished goods are safely packed on shelves and ready for delivery.
• Ensure no leaking drums are loaded onto vehicles for delivery to customers.
• Adhere to health, safety protocols and PPE for products manufactured.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in daily warehousing operations.
• Weigh raw materials and support manufacturing plant operations.
