Job summary

Solevo Group is seeking a qualified Factory Operator to join the Gauteng warehouse team. You will oversee forklift operations, loading/unloading, and ensure safe, orderly storage of finished goods while coordinating with Production and Despatch on daily activities.

The ideal candidate holds a forklift licence, is medically fit, and has 4–6 months of training with warehouse experience in a chemical environment.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift licence.
• Medically fit to operate a forklift.
• 4 to 6 months training.
• Warehouse experience in a chemical environment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure forklifts are in good working and clean condition
• Report any defects to Production Manager immediately
• Upload all forklift checks onto the system daily
• Ensure finished goods are safely stored on shelves
• Adhere to health, safety protocols and PPE for products manufactured
• Daily load and unload of trucks
• Weighing raw materials and manufacturing plant operations
• Attend safety meetings where applicable
