Job summary

Cash Crusaders seeks an experienced Industrial Relations (IR) Specialist to manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and CCMA engagements within our South African retail chain.

You will provide expert guidance to management, ensure compliance with Labour Relations Act, draft policies, and train managers on IR best practices.

The role requires a degree in HR/IR/Law, 3-5 years in IR, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or related field.
• 3-5 years of IR experience, preferably in retail.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour laws incl. Labour Relations Act.
• Proven CCMA representation experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes within the company.
• Represent the company at CCMA during conciliation and arbitration.
• Provide expert IR advice to management on policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies in discipline and union negotiations.
• Conduct investigations and facilitate conflict resolution.
