Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial engineering focusing on quality systems.
• Proven SPC, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and Lean Manufacturing expertise.
• Experience creating and implementing QMS, ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and manufacturing process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001.
• Apply SPC tools to monitor and control processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes and improvement areas.
• Lead RCA and FMEA initiatives.
• Develop CAPA plans to address issues and prevent recurrence.
• Design and deliver quality training for production and engineering staff.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering to ensure design quality and manufacturability.
• Oversee audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage quality documentation, work instructions, inspection plans, and records.
• Drive continuous improvement across Mossel Bay manufacturing operations.
