Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Pump Systems Technician for on-site work in Durban. You will install, maintain, and repair a range of pumps and associated equipment across industrial sectors, diagnosing faults and performing high-quality repairs.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong safety focus, and the ability to read schematics and technical manuals. You will work independently or as part of a team, with on-the-job training and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial pump systems.
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair diverse pump types and related equipment.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to industrial maintenance.
• Experience with seals, bearings, and motor couplings.
• Willingness to work on-site at various industrial locations in and around Durban.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems related to pump operation.

Responsabilités

About the Role

Our client, a major provider of industrial equipment services, is looking for a skilled Industrial Pump Systems Technician to join their dedicated team in Durban. This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of industrial pumps and associated equipment used in sectors such as manufacturing, water treatment, and mining. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of these critical systems, diagnosing faults, and performing high-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities
