Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Systems Technician to join our client’s Centurion operations. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of complex industrial systems, with a hands-on on-site focus to keep facilities productive and safe.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, strong mechanical, electrical and PLC knowledge, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. A relevant trade qualification is highly preferred and you will work in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Technician or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of on-site work.
• Relevant trade qualification or technical certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test industrial machinery and control systems.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they arise.
