Remote Recruitment seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for a Polokwane-based industrial operation. You will lead plant engineering and oversee equipment maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and efficient facility operations.

You will implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies, manage the maintenance budget, and mentor a team of technicians and engineers while ensuring compliance with OHSA and South African safety standards.

Qualificações

• A tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Solid leadership experience as a Maintenance Manager within a manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial setting.
• Proven track record in asset management and the use of CMMS.
• Strong financial acumen for managing departmental budgets and supplier contracts.
• Thorough knowledge of South African occupational health and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee plant machinery, equipment maintenance and facility operations to maximize uptime.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies across all assets.
• Manage the maintenance budget, controlling spare parts, repairs and contractors.
• Lead, mentor and schedule a team of maintenance technicians, artisans and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA and relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
