Job summary

Leita Steel Group is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in our structural steel fabrication workshop and broader facility. A hands-on Mechatronics Technician, Millwright, or Fitter and Turner with experience in CNC and automation is preferred to optimise processes and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs and CNC machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including CNC machinery.
• Carry out maintenance and repair work on machinery such as FANUC, Siemens PLC systems, Peddinghaus, and Ficep.
• Conduct general plant maintenance across the facility and support upgrades to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and automation teams to minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement.
