Job summary

Staff Solutions Recruitment is seeking a skilled Millwright/Electrical/Fitter to install, commission and maintain machinery on site. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs and contribute to system upgrades while maintaining detailed records of work performed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in an engineering environment, with hydraulics and pneumatics experience, and possesses a Trade Test Certificate. Basic computer literacy and strict adherence to OHS guidelines are required.

Qualifications

Certified Millwright/Electrical/Fitter Trade Test Certificate is required.
Minimum 3 years in an engineering environment.
Basic computer literacy and safety knowledge (OHS).
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.
Electrical/mechanical experience of at least 3 years.
Experience with automation systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

Install and commission machinery, ensure alignment and operation.
Perform preventive maintenance to prevent failures and extend lifespan.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues; replace faulty components.
Assist with system upgrades to improve efficiency and technology adoption.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and parts used.
