Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance skills.
• Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Install, align and commission new equipment as required.
• Read equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, work orders and parts used.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts and supplies.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production staff and maintenance team members.
