Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery including production lines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical control panels.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults efficiently.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and failures.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, manuals and equipment specs to guide repair activities.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to understand equipment needs and operational challenges.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented in the CMMS.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., gearboxes, bearings, pumps) and electrical systems (e.g., motors, PLCs, control circuits).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS software.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
