Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer with a specialization in supply chain optimization to enhance end-to-end operations in Centurion. The role focuses on analyzing logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks to drive cost savings and service improvements.

You will collaborate across procurement, manufacturing, and sales to implement cross-functional improvements, develop dashboards, and ensure data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience with focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Manhattan Associates).
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse layout design, and transportation management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics networks, routes, and DC operations.
• Utilize supply chain modeling software and tools to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and sales to integrate supply chain activities.
• Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor efficiency.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure SLAs and control costs.
