Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer specialized in supply chain and logistics to join our East London team. The role involves analyzing, designing, and improving supply chain operations, from inventory to distribution, to boost efficiency and cut costs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial engineering focused on supply chain optimization, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP/WMS/TMS and data analysis tools. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial engineering focusing on supply chain and logistics optimization.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in ERP, WMS, TMS, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience with simulation software for supply chain modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including inventory, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve forecast accuracy, reduce lead times, and minimize logistics costs.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and material flow processes.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to model supply chain scenarios and identify optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, production, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
