The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in industrial engineering, expertise with Arena/AnyLogic, and programming skills (Python/Java) to manipulate data and support change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Computer Science).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on process analysis and simulation.
• Demonstrated expertise in using discrete-event simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic).
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and performance metric development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial and business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop discrete-event simulation models to represent and analyze complex systems.
• Utilise simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic, Simul8) to test 'what-if' scenarios and evaluate potential changes.
• Validate simulation models against real-world operational data.
• Analyze simulation results to provide insights on system performance, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Recommend process improvements based on simulation outcomes and data analysis.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather data and understand process dynamics.
• Develop reports and presentations summarizing analysis findings and recommendations.
• Stay current with advancements in simulation technology and industrial engineering techniques.
• Support the implementation of recommended process changes.
